Well the idea was to enjoy a few more days of summer but then our temperatures went up again and it really is just to hot to do anything outside right now. So we figured it was time then to crack open the books and let the new Home school year begin. This year I have Noah who is a senior in 12th grade, Liam who is in 10th grade, and Anna who is in 7th grade.
Some of you I know will look at their school pictures and just shake your heads at how much they have grown. You know that saying growing like weeds. Around here in California you could say growing like Laurel Sumac hehehehe .... And some of my blogging friends have been watching them grow since 2009 when I first started blogging. They seemed so young then it is hard to believe so much time has passed.
The first day of school 2013 ~2014
and to get me ready for the day I made this delicious Ayurveda Almond shake for breakfast
1 cup of room temp Almond Milk
1/8 tsp. of Cinnamon
2 whole Dates (dried) I had fresh available so that is what I used.
1/8 inch of Fresh Ginger
Put all ingredients in a blender and puree` a very soothing tummy drink.
